Elena Delle Donne Named 2019 WNBA MVP

September 19, 2019 - Washington, D.C. - The WNBA announced today that Washington Mystics Forward Elena Delle Donne was named the 2019 WNBA Most Valuable Player. It is the second MVP recognition of Delle Donne's career, making her the first player to earn the award with multiple teams. September 19, 2019 - NEW YORK - Washington Mystics forward-guard Elena Delle Donne has been named the 2019 WNBA Most Valuable Player, the WNBA announced today. The seven-year veteran has won her second MVP award and become the first player in WNBA history to earn the honor with two different teams. Asia Durr Undergoes Successful Surgery

September 18, 2019 - NEW YORK - The New York Liberty announced today that guard Asia Durr underwent a successful hip arthroscopy with labral repair procedure on Wednesday, September 18. The procedure was performed by Jason Snibbe, MD at DOCS Outpatient Surgery Center in Los Angeles. Durr is expected to make a full recovery. September 18, 2019 - WNBA Playoffs down from last season, regular season slightly up Per reporting from, the WNBA regular season ended the year with an average of 246k viewers across ESPN, ESPN2 and ABC, which is up 7% from ratings on ESPN2 alone last year (231k). ESPN and ABC aired a total of 5 games, the most since 2008, so the overall ratings increase is not as impressive as it first sounds, and the numbers likely declined on ESPN2, curious considering the additional exposure the ESPN and ABC telecasts provided...
