Mid-Game Swing Gets Wilmington Back on Track With Win
April 18, 2024 - Wilmington Blue Rocks bounced back from their first home loss of the season, defeating the Greenville Drive 6-4 on Thursday, April 18. The Drive started off the scoring early in the top of the first inning, plating two runs on a sacrifice fly and a wild pitch after Blue Rocks starter Bryan Caceres walked two and hit a batter. April 18, 2024 - GREENSBORO, N.C. - The Greensboro Grasshoppers took down the Hickory Crawdads, 9-6 on Thursday, April 18. The Grasshoppers improved to 8-4 on the season while the Crawdads fell to 4-8. Greensboro outhit Hickory 9-6 as both teams had two mishaps. The Grasshoppers offense was led by outfielder Sammy Siani who went 4-5 with two doubles, one RBI, and two runs scored.
