Two-Out Rallies Lead Lexington Past Long Island in Game Three

AtL Long Island Ducks (Lexington, Ky.) - The Long Island Ducks were defeated by the Lexington Legends 6-3 on Monday night in Game Three of the Atlantic League Championship Series at Lexington Legends Ballpark. The Legends now lead the best-of-five series two games to one. A leadoff solo home run to left field by Christian Correa in the third inning off Ducks starter Scott Harkin gave the Legends a 1-0 lead. Boog Powell tied the game at one in the fifth with a mammoth solo homer to right off Legends starter J.J. Hoover. Dysin Mayo Called to Coyotes

AHL Tucson Roadrunners GLENDALE, ARIZONA - Arizona Coyotes General Manager Bill Armstrong announced today that the Coyotes have recalled defenseman Dysin Mayo and assigned defenseman Vladislav Provolnev to the Tucson Roadrunners, the Club's American Hockey League (AHL) affiliate. The 25-year-old Mayo has appeared in both games with the Roadrunners this season, wearing the Captain's "C" on his sweater. He is the only member of the current Roadrunners roster that has appeared in all six seasons with the franchise. The 6-foot-2, 183-pound native of Victoria, B.C. recorded 1-3-4 and 22 penalty minutes (PIM) in 35 ... Full Story

BASEBALL Arizona Fall League: After cancelling its 2020 season due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, Major League Baseball's AzFL started its 2021 season this week. The AzFL will again have six teams with the Peoria Javelinas, Surprise Saguaros and Glendale Desert Dogs in the West, and the Mesa Solar Sox, Salt River Rafters and Scottsdale Scorpions in the East. Each team will have prospects from five different MLB teams. The regular season runs through November 19, 2021.
